Chaqin Linshan Tea Workshop

An experience-led tea workshop created for serious tea lovers—not a seminar, not a lecture, and never a standard “tasting event.”
At ChaQin Linshan, we host one tea workshop every month, featuring two core topics. Each topic is offered twice per month (subject to availability), in small- group sessions designed for depth, focus, and a truly guided experience.

What makes ChaQin workshops different:
1. This is not a seminar. You are not here to “listen and take notes.” You are here to taste, compare, and understand tea through direct experience.
2. Top-grade, rare teas are served. We use teas that are difficult to find in the market—selected for clarity of terroir, craftsmanship, and ageing potential.
3. The topics stay the same each month, but the teas do not. The workshop structure remains consistent for learning progression, but the tea lineup changes every month—so even if you attend regularly, you will not repeat the same teas.

Reservation and Seats
Reservations are available exclusively through the ChaQin Linshan website.
Each session is limited to 3 seats to preserve tasting quality and ensure proper guidance.
Each monthly topic is conducted twice per month, with seats released based on availability.
Once a session is fully booked, reservations will close automatically.

Vertical Tea Tasting

One mountain, different years.
A guided tasting designed to help you understand how time changes tea—from aroma structure and texture to aftertaste, throat-feel, and overall energy.

You will experience:
How does the same origin evolve across different production years
How aging changes fragrance, sweetness, body, and finish
How to identify maturity, stability, and ageing direction through tasting— not theory

Horizontal Tea Tasting

Different mountains, same year.
A guided tasting designed to help you understand terroir differences—how mountain environment and micro-region shape a tea’s personality within the same production year.

You will experience:
The signature profile of each mountain: aroma type, texture, mineral tone, and aftertaste
How altitude, ecology, and leaf material express themselves in the cup
How to compare teas clearly and avoid being misled by “names” and marketing

A tearoom is more than just a place to drink tea; it is a sanctuary of calmness, reflection, and hospitality. Rooted in tradition yet timeless in spirit, the tearoom is thoughtfully designed to offer a sense of balance and serenity, where every detail – from the arrangement of the space to the fragrance of the tea – encourages mindfulness and presence. Stepping into a tearoom is like stepping into a world apart from the noise of everyday life, a place where one can pause, breathe, and reconnect with simplicity.
