Description
Lao Ban Zhang (LBZ) — King of Pu’er. A commanding Pu’er that lands from the first sip: potent cha-qi that feels dense and full-bodied yet never harsh, spreading warmth and strength through the whole body. The fragrance rises high and pure—orchid entwined with honey—and lingers long in the empty cup. Flavor opens with a quick flash of bitterness/astringency, then dissolves rapidly into a surging sweetness that fills the mouth and throat; the aftertaste is long, cooling, and refreshing. Dry leaves are thick, sturdy, and softly downy—classic large-leaf Bulang material—signaling rich inner substances and excellent aging potential. In the Pu’er world it embodies masculine “yang” power, perfectly counterbalancing Yiwu’s refined grace.
